Getting Started

In order to use the Central Index API, you'll need an API key. Our API keys are administered by Mashery. If you already have a Mashery account, then you can simply apply for an API key for your existing account. For new Mashery users, you will need to register with Mashery, who will issue you with an API once you have confirmed your email address.

Once you have registered with Mashery, you will be issued with an API key which will look something like this:

Your API key is private and should be kept secret. It permits you to make up to five API calls per second, with a maximum of two thousand per day. If you need more, then please get in touch!
